Membership Terms and Conditions


Queensland Athletics

I hereby make application for membership of Queensland Athletics with the Club I have selected and declare that I am eligible to participate in competition according to the eligibility laws set down by the By-Laws of Athletics Australia. I agree to abide by all the Rules and By-Laws of Queensland Athletics, Memorandums, Articles and By-Laws of Athletics Australia including the General and specific codes of conduct contained therein and Constitution and Rules of World Athletics as amended from time to time. I consent to undergo drug testing under the auspices of ASADA and I consent to my name and/or image being used in Queensland Athletics publication or displayed on the website of the official Queensland Athletics (or verified club) photographer.

1. Be Kind and Courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2. No Hate Speech or Bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

3. Discounts from our Sponsors and Partners. Discounts are at the discretion of the individual business and are provided for financial members only. To obtain these discounts you will need to show your SRG membership card with expiry date.

4. Run Sessions. Run Leaders are volunteers and they do their best to cater for all abilities. All distances are approximate and may change dependent on run leaders planned route. The Run Leaders are responsible for their allocated session. As such, their directions are to be followed.

 


Run Leaders reserve the right to exclude participants who do not comply with above directions. Continued non-compliance by a participant or participants, may lead to that participant or participants being banned from attendance at SRG activites.
